Description: In the inner harbour: the camera is taken on a boat all through the harbour and gives an impressive picture; further on at the waterside a column topped by an angel is shown (memorial for a sunken Russian warship); in the old city: Kiek in de Kök (cannon tower, today a museum), in the background „Long Hermann“ (cannon tower, part of the Tallinn castle) and the cathedral; the promenade; Baltic herring fishery: pictures of fishing (sprats), fishermen haul the fishing boat ashore with a line and winch, nets are spread out, women helping; the fish are removed and washed by women; curing the fish in a fish-processing plant; drill by the factory fire brigade: deployment with an old steam-driven nozzle, everything is manually operated; ladders are extended against a building; the film cuts off.
