Description: Lea likes to read but her parents believe that the right occupation for a girl is to knit. But Lea doesn’t seem to have a feel for knitting: soon she loses the ball of wool and has to look for it all over the house. So she makes a mess in every room, until her parents’ return. Desperate for all the mess, her parents decide that after all reading is not so an unsuited occupation for their daughter. The video is a copy from the film print held by the National Cinema Museum: 35mm, positive, acetate, 73 m, 4’ at 18 fps, black and white, Italian intertitles, silent.
