Description: The great value of the ski in facilitating military movements on snow is here convincingly illustrated. A party of Italian soldiers are seen covering the ground at a remarkable pace, and getting over uneven ground with ease. The concluding scenes show some of the more risky feats, the soldiers being seen clearing a considerable obstacle and shooting down a hillside at express speed. The video is a copy from the film print held by the Museo Nazionale del Cinema and previously restored by the EYE Filmmuseum: 35 mm, positive, polyester, 66 m, 4’ at 18 fps, black and white, without intertitles, silent.
