Other title(s):Wanda's Trick
Description:Wanda works at the Garbaty cigarette factory. Her boss, cigarette manufacturer Heinrich Löbel, is smitten. After a rendezvous Wanda asks her boss to marry her but he was hoping for another outcome for the evening. On the next morning Wanda reads in the newspaper that she won 100.000 marks in the big lottery. While she is celebrating with her colleagues her boss is informed that his company is making losses. To save it he asks Wanda for her hand in marriage but she brushes him off. After Wanda hears about the impending bankruptcy of the cigarette factory she publishes a newspaper ad to boost sales: she promises to marry the man who finds her portrait inside a packet of Garbaty cigarettes. The trick works and Löbel makes Wanda a co-owner of the company. At a charity event Wanda sells the last packets but the one with her portrait that she gave to her boss gets stolen...
