Description: Two young and pretty neighbours fall in love, at the same time, with Cretinetti, and for him they go crazy: they fight a duel with swords and guns, and desperate they even want to commit suicide by throwing themselves under a passing car. In trying to stop them from doing this, Cretinetti himself is hit by the passing car. To revive him, the two girls take Cretinetti to the river, but he ends up in the water, half drowning. At this point the two girls agree to be consoled by the two bold young men who come to rescue Cretinetti. The video is a copy from the film print held by the Museo Nazionale del Cinema and previously restored by the EYE Filmmuseum: 35mm, positive, acetate, 183 m, 9’ at 18 fps, black and white, Dutch intertitles, silent.
