Description: The film, shot by the Turinese photographer and amateur film maker Luis Bogino (1892 – 1960), displays daily life in Turin, giving a glimpse of the busy downtown area. It can be seen: Via Roma (and the bell tower of the San Carlo Borromeo Church); Piazza Carlo Felice (the Giardino Sambuy, the monument to Massimo d'Azeglio, and the nineteenth century buildings overlooking the square); Corso Vittorio Emanuele II; Porta Nuova railway station; the river Po; Porta Palazzo (and its local market). The video is a copy from the film print held by the Museo Nazionale del Cinema: 16mm, positive, acetate, 30 m, 4’ at 18 fps, black and white, silent.
