  • Descrizione: The technique of electronic animation is used in this allegorical film, where photographs are filmed in monochrome. Based loosely on Don Quixote, the film takes us on a poetical tour around the worldwide museum of human vanity. We look at symbols from Western civilization’s past, from the times when man imagined and built cities and the Cosmic Prince, through his earthly employees, tore them down. Like Prometheus, Don Quixote confronts the Creator and leads the people of the City to an imaginary Paradise. Meanwhile, he travels to our times, when Western Civilization is on the verge of collapse under the weight of its own conflicting ambitions. The film represented Greece at the Belgrade Film Festival of 1997.
