Three shots of monks picking olives. Two shots of a monk filling a bucket with water from a stream. A monk is digging up the topsoil in a field.)
    2. MANUALLY OPERATED LIFT Sixteen shots that clearly show the unusual, manually operated lift fitted with a net. Truly spectacular shots.)
    3. MONKS AT MEALTIME Two shots of the distribution of bread to monks in the presence of the stock keeper who takes notes. A wooden bell summons the monks at mealtime. Monks are getting together. Four shots at a table with monks having a meal. Two elderly monks and two young novices. We are attending a prayer gathering, watching the monks fill their glasses with wine and listening to the exchange of wishes.)
    4. COFFEE PREPARATION Seven shots on coffee preparation. The coffee mill at work and the roasting at the fireplace.)
    5. MOMENTS OF CONTEMPLATION AND NIGHT PRAYER Two monks are reading the Holy Scriptures at the window. Another monk is ringing the bell. Three marvellous close-ups of monks in the dark. One is lighting a candle, the other is praying and the third one is counting prayers on a rosary. All the monks are gathered at the sitting area. There is a short shot of a candle swaying in front of Virgin Mary’s icon.)
