Over The European Film Gateway
De EFG Portal geeft u snel en makkelijk toegang tot honderdduizenden film historische documenten zoals die bewaard zijn in Europese filmarchieven en cinemateken: foto’s, posters, programma’s, tijdschriften, censuur documentatie, zeldzame speelfilms en documentaires, journaals en andere materialen. Gericht op zowel wetenschappelijke onderzoekers als geïnteresseerd publiek, biedt het EFG informatie over het maken van films in Europa vanaf de begindagen tot nu.
Tomorrow, on 5 April, the new EYE film museum will open its doors to the general public. Located on the north shore of the river IJ in Amsterdam, the new building houses four cinemas, an exhibition space of 1200 square meters, the basement with the digitised collections, an educational room, museum shop and restaurant-café.
